    Marion Christmas Parade

    Kickoff the holiday season with the City of Marion's Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 24.
    If you are interested in being in the parade, we are taking reservations beginning October 30. Please come to the Marion Business Association office at 58 Depot St to make a reservation to march or ride in this family fun event. 

    Spectators are welcome on Main Street to watch the festive procession!

    Tour First Presbyterian Church, St Johns Episcopal Church, and/or St Matthew's Lutheran Church

    Tour some of Marion's beautiful historic downtown churches this holiday season. 

    Members of the public are invited to drop in and tour First Presbyterian Church of Marion, St. John's Episcopal Church and/or St. Matthew's Methodist Church of Marion from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 5. 

    This a free event. You do not need tickets and can start at any of the three churches of your choosing.

    New Year's Eve Celebration

    New Year's Eve is right around the corner. Make plans to attend one of North Carolina's most iconic New Year's Eve Celebrations on Tuesday, December 31, from 8:30 - 12 p.m. in downtown Marion. 

    There's no other place you'll get to see the gold nugget drop at midnight and enjoy a variety of activities leading up to the big drop.
